All who have lost loved ones including the family and friends of Susan Haskins as they mourn the sudden death of Amy (Susan’s sister), John Fischer as he mourns the death of his father on December 8^th,  Rev. Cecelia Eggleston as she mourns the death of her partner of 20 years {Monica} on December 26^th, Doug as he mourns the death of his niece (Tyanna Michelle Moore) on December 26^th,  Amber Wade as she mourns the death of her husband (Jared) on December 30^th, the family and friends of Rev. Mark Bidwell, Howard Herrera as he mourns the death of his mother (Cynthia) on January 9^th,  the family and friends of Tom Lisa who died on January 10^th,  and Rosario DeMaio as he mourns the death of his father on January 11th.

All who are living with HIV/AIDS, including Phillip DeBlieck, The Rev. Lee Carlton, The Rev. Mark Lee, Mark Heckler, The Rev. Jim Mitulski, Joshua Love, Michael Petrellis, Timothy Kirkley, Jim Richmond, Alyshia, Angel L. Martinez, Monté Clarke, Brian Kendall, John Ralston, Michael Turner, and those who are part of our Pantry and Shelter Programs.

All who are dealing with issues of self-esteem and spirituality or emotional well-being, Holly Kees, John Kees, Jakob Kees,  Michael Dain, Mike Gilbertson, Jeff (Rick Libert’s friend), Julie Anderson, Richard Fine, Ternell, and Martha Ramos.   

All who are looking for jobs and all who have been laid off or fired, especially Rick Libert, Daniel (GSMCC), Lillian (Norma Sharp’s cousin), Noah Haspray, Marcus Warren, and Sarah Wilson.

All who are homeless or seeking apartments.

All who continue to live with the devastation of natural disasters. 

All who are imprisoned, including those in detention in Guantanamo Bay, the people of Burkina Faso, and Paul Pacheco. 

All who are in war-torn areas, especially Brian Boike in Afghanistan, Mike on his third tour in Iraq,  Ashley Flores and her family, Deidre {daughter of Su Stout and Sharon Hines} and Shaun Bosley {nephew of Connie Meadows}.

+ Please pray for peace throughout the Middle East, in Darfur, in the Congo, the Gaza Strip, and Libya.

All who are part of MCC who have requested prayers, including The Rev. Troy Perry (Founder), The Rev. Nancy Wilson (Moderator) and our denomination, MCC in Brazil, Pastoral Leader Alex and the Binghamton Church Congregation, Rev.  Pang Wai Yap in Kuala Lumpur, Rev. Jidé Macauley and his ministry in Nigeria, MCC’s work in Jamaica, all the work begun in Malaysia and Pakistan, Paul and our partners in Shanghai, all the MCC congregations seeking pastors, Pastor Kisitu Robert in Uganda {safe space for an LGBTQI congregation},  all the churches seeking financial stability, the work of Global Justice in Uganda, all who are living in the midst of Middle Eastern uprisings, and the people of Cote d’Ivoire, and The Rev. Ron LaRocque of MCC in Winston-Salem.

All who are working for human rights.  Pray for the success of our movement to gain equal marriage rights nationally.  Pray for Queer human rights activists in Jamaica, Eastern Europe, Nigeria, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Middle East, East Africa, and for MCC’s work in those countries.   

+ Please pray daily for MCCNY, the work to which God has called us, our growth, our financial health, and for new space. 

+Please pray daily for those in government, especially President Obama, that they all may be instruments of peace, healing and restoration in our country and in our world.  Please pray for the safety of President Obama and his family.
