An independent 501(c)(3) organization, MCCNY Charities furthers the mission of MCCNY to bring the world to right and just relationship. MCCNY Homeless Youth Services
Open 365 days a year, MCCNY Homeless Youth Services has helps thousands of LGBTQI runaway and homeless youth aged 18-24 to continue their work towards stability by providing them with crisis shelter, case management, social work, psychiatric, health care and job training services. The MCCNY Homeless Youth Services Mental Health Services Program is a critical resource for LGBTQI runaway and homeless youth who have experienced trauma or mental illness. The Sylvia Rivera Food Pantry
The Sylvia Rivera Food Pantry meets the nutritional needs of a diverse group of low-income, working poor and HIV+ individuals and families in an environment of respect and confidentiality. Client-Choice Pantry Distribution (open to all): Thursday 9am-10am. Snack Bag Distribution (open to all): Tuesday-Friday 2pm-3pm. PLWHA Pantry (M11Q required): Tuesday-Friday 2pm-3pm. Community Dinner (open to all): final Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm.
Rev. Pat’s Finishing School
A monthly free dinner and skills-building workshop for members of the transgender community, this intergenerational program is a safe space for community building, mentorship and international collaboration between trans communities. Meets the final Thursday of the month, September-May at 7pm.
Queer Elder Spirit
Through a partnership with First Care of New York, Inc., Queer Elder Spirit offers training and job placement for members of the LGBTQI community to serve as home care and personal care attendants to LGBTQI elders. Queer Elder Spirit staff match these skilled providers with LGBTQI elders in need of home care.
Rapid HIV Testing
Free and confidential rapid HIV testing available seven days a week, including late nights and weekends. Spanish-speaking staff available. Walk-in hours: Monday-Friday 10am-10pm; Saturday 1pm-10pm; Sunday 12:30pm-2:30pm.
Expanded Syringe Access Program (ESAP)
ESAP helps New Yorkers stay safe by providing up to 10 free syringes per day to adults age 18+. Walk-in hours: Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays 1pm-2pm.
