Have your Wedding with MCCNY!
Metropolitan Community Church of New York has been marrying same sex couples for nearly 40 years and now the weddings have the blessing of the state of New York! MCCNY has a staff clergy of 7 including 2011 NYC Pride March Grand Marshal Rev. Pat Bumgardner and a fully-equiped sanctuary to hold weddings up to 200 people. Additional reception space for up to 125 is available in the Jackson Hall Art Gallery located on the third floor of MCCNY.
MCCNY’s wedding procedure requires that all couples seeking to get married at MCCNY have two appointments with the pastor prior to the wedding date. During those apointments, the wedding will be tailored to the couple’s needs and requests. Availability for upcoming seasons are going quickly so It is best to be open about the wedding date as it has to be coordinated with the pastor and church’s schedules.
MCCNY requests a donation of $350 for on-site weddings and a $500 donation for all off-site weddings. Reception space donations will be negotiated with the church administrator.
