Greg Strait Edge

Greg Straight Edge was born in ruralNorth Carolinawith cornfields and dairy pastures for a backyard. His first memories of animals are chickens, cows, dogs, and a tortoise that crossed the back yard every morning. These memories are ever present in all Greg does for the animals.

At age 15 his first photo was published, and is still in print today. From bands to BMX, Greg prefers to shoot what he enjoys rather than to be paid for more lucrative jobs. In 2005 Greg quit his photography job for The Department of Defense, and began to search for a positive way of life that would benefit all. Greg found this life with helping others, human animals as well as non-human animals alike. Feeding the homeless vegan meals and rescuing animals became his life’s work and still is to this day.

For his efforts Greg has won Farm Sanctuary’s Farm Animal Friend award for 2009, and Vegfund’s Merit Award for 2010.

Greg became Vegan in June of 1991, Raw Vegan in February of 2009, and to this day strives to be more conscious of all that we must do to make our lives better for ourselves and all that we share Earth with.
